Best College Game

The most points Chris Paul scored in a college basketball game was 30. He did this twice, first against the University of Cincinnati and then against the University of Maryland, both times during the 2003-04 season.

A Long Time Before Fouling Out

Chris Paul fouled out of a game for the first time in the NBA on February 20, 2009 in a Hornets loss to the Lakers. This was more than halfway through his fourth year in the league.

5 Out Of 7

Chris Paul led the NBA in steals in five of his first seven years in the league. He was the first player to lead the league in that category five times since the state was officially recorded and tracked beginning in the early 1970s. The previous record of four years leading the league had been held by Michael Ray Richardson.

First Game With The Clippers

In Chris Paul’s first game with the Los Angeles Clippers, a win over the Golden State Warriors, he would score 20 points, grab two rebounds, dish out nine assists, and get two steals.

40+ Point Games

Chris Paul had five 40+ point games during his years playing for the Hornets. His first one with the Clippers came on Halloween in 2013 when he scored 42 in a win over the Warriors.

When They Say Jump, He Says How High?

At the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine held before the NFL Draft, Matt Ryan was measured as having a 24 inch vertical leap. He was also timed with a 4.86 second 40 yard dash.

First 300 Yard Game

Matt Ryan had his first 300 yard game in the NFL in a win over the Bears in 2008 in the sixth game of his pro career. He completed 22 of 30 passes that day for 301 yards and a touchdown.

First Interception

Matt Ryan threw his first career interception on the third pass attempt of his career. It happened in the first quarter of a Falcons loss to the Buccaneers in 2008. It was intended for Harry Douglas but was picked off by Aqib Talib.

Long Touchdowns

The first five different players to catch 50+ yard TD passes thrown by Matt Ryan in the NFL were: Michael Jenkins, Roddy White, Jerious Norwood, Julio Jones, and Michael Turner.
