Chase Utley In The Minors

Before making it to the big leagues, Chase Utley played minor league baseball with three different teams: The Batavia Muckdogs, Clearwater Phillies, and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons.

His First Game Ever

In his first career MLB start, a 9-1 Philadelphia win over the Rockies, Chase Utley went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored, a double, a home run, and four RBI.

First All-Star Game Appearance

In Chase Utley’s very first at bat in the All-Star Game, he hit a one-out single off of Kenny Rogers in the 2007 summer contest.
