His Debut Game

In his NBA debut, a Suns loss to the Trail Blazers, Steve Kerr would come off the bench for Phoenix, play 8 minutes, get one rebound and one assist, and score three points as he went 1-for-1 from behind the arc.

How Many Teams?

As an NBA player, Steve Kerr played for six NBA teams: Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic, Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs (twice), and Portland Trail Blazers.

Best Game

In a 1992 Cavaliers win over the Pacers, Steve Kerr would score 24 points, the most of his NBA career.

Two Time Leader

Steve Kerr led the NBA in 3-point percentage twice, first with the Cavaliers in 1989/90 and then with the Bulls in 1994/95.

Who Had The Pick?

Steve Kerr was drafted by the Suns in 1988. The pick used to take him was originally owned by the Lakers and had been traded to Phoenix in 1985 as part of a package that acquired Maurice Lucas.
