As a sophomore at Washington State University, Klay Thompson was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Great Alaska Shootout when he helped the Cougars with the whole tournament.

Dad Beat Ya’, Son

In 2011, Klay Thompson was chosen by the Golden State Warriors with the 11th overall pick in the NBA Draft. 33 years earlier, in 1978, Klay’s dad Mychal Thompson had been the number one overall player taken in the NBA Draft.

Klay Thompson didn’t miss a game in either of his first two NBA seasons.
