Pierre Thomas has been a reliable player for the New Orleans Saints for a number of years. He is a hard runner who can power through the line when needed and even break away from would be tacklers too. He has been a valuable part of the organization for a number of years.

Early Bloomer!

Pierre Thomas played four years at running back for the University of Illinois. His best season was his sophomore year when he accumulated 893 yards.

Unexpected Touchdown

The first TD Pierre Thomas ever scored in the NFL came on special teams when he returned a fumble five yards for the score in a 2007 Saints win over the Seahawks.

The Very First Carry

In a Saints loss to the Panthers in 2007, Pierre Thomas gained three yards on the very first rushing attempt of his career. This was also the only carry he had during the game.

Century Mark

The first 100 yard game Pierre Thomas had in the NFL came in the last game of his rookie season in 2007. In a Saints loss to the Bears, Thomas carried the ball 20 times for 105 yards. This was also his first 100 yard receiving game as he caught 12 passes that day for 121 yards.

A Half Dozen

Six of the first 12 touchdowns Pierre Thomas scored in the NFL were scored in the fourth quarter.
