The First To Do So Twice

The first opposing player Zack Greinke gave up more than one home run to was Miguel Olivo. He hit both off of him during Greinke’s rookie year, in a Mariners win over the Royals on August 27, 2004.

A Rough Start

After a rough beginning that included an 8-11 record as a rookie and a 5-17 record in his second season, Zack Greinke’s career win-loss record did not go above .500 until late in 2011, his eighth year in Major League Baseball.

The First To 20

The first opposing player to get 20 or more hits off of Zack Greinke during his career was A.J. Pierzynski.

The First As A Dodger
